All naturally lit. All shot in boutique hotels not in a studio so you get the full experience and a fabulous day out.
A boudoir photography session starts with a relaxing chat over a cup of coffee so that we both understand what you want to achieve from the session and the process we will go through to create those images.

I always work with an experienced female assistant and/or makeup artist who will be on hand throughout the session. This ensures that everyone is comfortable. Don’t worry about being nervous, all shoots start out a little hesitant but it doesn’t take long to become relaxed.

Your choice of underwear for the shoot is extremely important. The more luxurious the garments, the more glamorous you will look but always go for things that you will feel comfortable in and don’t forget the shoes. Killer heels can be as much a feature of the photographs as the underwear. Little details are also important such as jewellery and accessories. A compact mirror and a lipstick for instance will give you something to do with your hands and help create a story.

A professional makeup artist can really make a difference to how you look and feel. I would always suggest having your hair and makeup done for the shoot. Even with incredible skin you will benefit greatly from some well chosen makeup. Don’t be afraid to wear more than you might usually wear.

Boudoir photography is timeless, elegant and artistic. It is glamorous, intimate, liberating, confidence building and empowering.
