You’re probably thinking how can this be destination wedding photography? It looks very wet and not unlike Wales. The answer is simple. It is a destination wedding when your clients have flown in from Australia. So Wales meets Australia for a beautiful outdoor wedding at Plas Brondanw in Snowdonia. Adventures in Wedding Photography
Hi there, welcome to our wedding photography blog. Here we share our favourite weddings, engagement shoots and other wedding related things. If you would like to see more wedding images you can see featured weddings here or view our wedding gallery here.
We travelled all the way to Berkshire (about 30 minutes) for Olwen and James Kintbury wedding. They were married at St. Mary’s in Kintbury followed by a laid back wedding reception at – well we can’t say as the venue don’t want any publicity – somewhere in Berkshire. We were the wedding photographers for Ceri and Debs’ wedding at Grittleton House in 2014. Olwen and James were guests and loved the photos so they booked us. We get a lot of recommendations which is fantastic as it must mean we are doing a good job. Here’s their story –
Natasha and Alasdair chose Shilstone for their wedding when they discovered it while on holiday in Devon. Shilstone wedding photography is fantastic. It’s a truly amazing wedding venue. It has a barn for the ceremony, the gorgeous house for the drinks reception and then the impressive marquee for the wedding breakfast and dancing. All set in beautiful rolling Devon countryside. I’ll let Natasha tell you about it –
Claire & Nathan found us on Fearless Photographers. It’s a collection of some of the best wedding photographers in the world and we’re over the moon to have won a couple of international wedding photography awards there. We met Claire & Nathan back in April for their engagement photography in Blackpool and they were such a great couple so we were really looking forward to their wedding at Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire.
Ben & Victoria’s luxury Cheshire wedding took place in Mobberley, the village where they grew up and live. We started the morning with Victoria and the girls at Victoria’s father’s beautiful farmhouse. The wedding marquee was being set up in the garden while the girls got their hair and makeup done in the kitchen.
Hannah & Antony were married at Sudbury House Hotel in July. Hannah booked us for her Sudbury House wedding photography as soon as she had booked her chocolate fountain.
You can see the fun that Sarah and Andy had with their wedding at the Great Tythe Barn recently. They met on the net in 2014. Andy wowed Sarah with tales of childhood stardom and Sarah in turn captivated Andy with her love of Disney movies. The setting was a glorious sunny Autumn day with beautiful colours in the trees; just what they had hoped for.
I’ve known Alex for over 10 years. We worked together in global IT infrastructure before I broke off to become a Bristol wedding photographer so I was delighted when he asked us to cover his and Kerriann’s Old Down Manor wedding in February. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and Old Down Manor is a perfect location with it’s views over the Severn.
This is a long read but it has plenty of pictures – Not all weddings either – so stick with it. When I bought my first camera I chose the best I could get with the money I had. At that time the best I could get was a Canon 400D. I got a kit with two lenses. I didn’t have any intention of becoming a professional wedding photographer I just liked photography. That was back in 2007.
