Emma & Mike’s wedding at Puckrup Hall had the best sweet cart of any wedding ever. If you want to know how to keep us wedding photographers happy then follow Emma and Mike’s lead and include buckets of chocolate peanuts and giant buttons. Easy. This was a sweet cart that we still talk about and we will never forget. Some other things also happened (apparently) at the wedding so read on..
Adventures in Wedding Photography
Welcome to our blog. Here we share our favourite weddings, engagement shoots and other related things. If you would like to see more from Wiltshire and all the other places I’ve visited you can see featured weddings here or view the portfolio here.
Emma and Dan met online like so many couples now. They got on so well their first quick coffee turned in to a 4 hour lunch date. Dan proposed to Emma on a beautiful frosty morning
Ellice & Josh were married in the tiny village of Woodborough. Woodborough Church is a beautiful, quaint little country church. The vicar was lovely but slightly overwhelmed with two Wiltshire wedding photographers and James from 88 films.
We recently photographed a wedding at Great Badminton Church. Great Badminton Church is an amazing place. It’s fairly hard to find unless you know where you are going – Google Maps didn’t know.
It was a beautiful summers day for some laid back Wiltshire wedding photography. Ben and Gemma were married at Barford St. Martin Church with a reception at The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe. It was an intimate affair with close family and friends.
Caitlin & Mark met in Bristol on what they suspect to have been orchestrated by their friends. “…it was meant to be a gathering of friends, maybe around 10 of us and then all of a sudden people could not make it and there were 4 of us left – Mark, Marks housemate Timmy and Timmy’s girlfriend, Georgie. To this day we are convinced this was a total set up.”
Claire & Miles had a beautiful day – rare this year – for their Greenlands Henley Greenlands wedding. Greenlands is a spectacular Henley wedding venue on the Thames. It is a gorgeous setting for a wedding with its grand white house and fabulous manicured gardens set on the riverbank.
From the moment we stepped into the car to leave for Ian & Francesca’s Wellington Barn wedding, to the moment we left, it rained. It didn’t dampen their day though, they had a wonderful time with all their family and friends.
We’re snowed under with editing weddings at the moment. The season has truly begun. I thought I’d take a quick five minutes out and share some of my favourite engagement images from the year so far.
Roxáne & Barnaby booked a “Just the two of us” wedding at Bailbrook House. As it turned out “just the two of us” turned into “just the nine of us” plus us two. Bailbrook House is a beautiful historic manor house hotel in Bath. We are one of the few handpicked, recommended suppliers for Bailbrook House wedding photography so if you are planning a wedding at Bailbrook House please get in touch.
