Stone Barn is one of our favourite Cotswolds wedding venues. Lauren & Mike had their wedding at Stone Barn back at the start of the summer last year (I know. I know, I’m catching up with last years weddings now). It was a glorious day, quite a difference to the previous wedding at Matara with Harri & Ranj which was bitterly cold.
I love Berkley Castle wedding photography. Who wouldn’t love photographing weddings in a castle? Matt & Howard were married on one of the hottest days of the year. Their day was one to remember. Berkeley Castle is a stunning venue. Set in 6000 acres it is one of very few inhabited Castles in the UK. It is still home to the family that built it.
Relaxed, decadent, hints of the 1930’s and pineapples were the inspiration for Matt & Howard’s Berkeley Castle wedding.
I love Stone Barn wedding photography. It’s such a unique place with it’s old barn fronted by the patina of the dutch barn. Out in the middle of nowhere, it’s the perfect place for a celebration.
Mel and Ged met at work. Mel interviewed Ged for a job and after 3 years of working side by side and discovering that they were both Midsomer Murders fans – They entered the wedding breakfast to the Midsomer Murders theme – they finally got together in 2006. I asked them why they had chosen to have their wedding at Stone Barn. They told me they just loved the Cotswolds and wanted their wedding photos to reflect the area and time of year; Roaring fires, stone cottages and beautiful countryside. Stone Barn is an amazing place for us Cotswolds wedding photographers. I’ll let Ged tell you about the wedding…
