Destination Wedding photography – Finca la Concepcion
A destination wedding in Marbella on the hottest day of the year. Finca La Concepcion near Marbella is a beautiful setting for a wedding and it’s where Natalie and Rich chose to hold their intimate wedding in June this year.
Rich proposed to Natalie under the stars on the beach in Dubai. They decided right then that they wanted to get married abroad in the sunshine. They both loved Marbella and chose Finca la Concepcion, a gorgeous outdoor venue for their destination wedding. Staying in a luxury villa for the week and getting ready with family and friends topped it off.
We were chosen to photograph their wedding as we had shot Toby and Kelly’s wedding at Sopley Mill where Sarah, our favourite bridesmaid ever, was also “bridesmaiding” for Kelly. Nat and Rich loved our style and felt at ease and confident with us after their engagement shoot so we booked our flights, car and accommodation and couldn’t wait to start packing.
We arrived at the villa early to make sure we covered the preparations, what a place. It was huge with beautiful views, an infinity pool and even its own cinema room. When we arrived the boys were having lunch and messing about in the pool while Natalie was having her makeup done in the hall. It made quite a difference from the cramped, hot, hotel rooms we are used to. Natalie looked incredible in her Maggie Soterro dress and Gina shoes and Rich cut a dash in Hugo Boss.
When we arrived at Finca la Concepcion the theme was bling meets shabby chic. Porn Star martinis, a tree of memories and a flower arch that Natalie had designed with the florist to match her bouquet decorated the venue along with chandeliers hanging from the trees and a globe signifying their love of travel. The ceremony was intimate with vows that they had written themselves.
Tara from Fiesta Sol kept the day on track and looked after us too. Our food was delicious and I hear that the guests also had quite a fabulous feast.
Once the sun started to go down, things relaxed. The cake was amazing with lots of little details like cupcakes, macaroons and cakepops. We shot some portraits around the house before Rob Rocks and Roberto Sax kicked off the dancing.
We had a fantastic time and if you are thinking of having a destination wedding at Finca la Concepcion or anywhere else in the world then please get in touch. We are ready to go.

Kevin, you did a very good job. They make me want to go and live in Spain rather than in London. Great photography, very good shots and I love the colours.
