Country House wedding venue in Gloucestershire

Elmore Court is a gorgeous and Unique wedding venue in Gloucestershire. It is an exclusive use wedding venue meaning that you and your guests can relax and party in private with no-one else around. One of you can get ready in the house while the other takes the Coach House. You can get married with your friends and family in attendance within the main house and move out into the stunning gardens for the drinks reception. Maybe have speeches on the steps before taking the short walk over to the Gillyflower for the wedding breakfast and dancing. In the evening toast marshmallows over the fire pits under the strings of fairy lights in the trees.

Does that sound like the kind of wedding for you? It sounds perfect to me.

Ceremony your way

If you prefer a religious ceremony Elmore Church is less than a mile away. St. John The Baptist church tower dates back to the 13th century.

Many wedding venues have a semi permanent marquee attached. Elmore is different, It has the Gillyflower. The Gillyflower is a hall made especially for wedings, events and parties. Built from sustainable materials found on the estate it allows the party to rock without disturbing any neighbours. You can let rip with the music and dancing safe in the knowledge that no-one else is listening. It can hold up to 200 guests. It’s a perfect party venue.

Weddings at Elmore Court

Joe & Sarah were married in the main hall. Sarah got ready in the coach house and Joe and the boys arrived into the house to have a few drinks fro the ceremony kicked off. It was a beautiful day with friends and family. After the wedding ceremony everyone went out on to the lawn for Pimms and canapes. The plan was to have the speeches on the steps but the weather looked a little iffy so it was back in to the hall for speeches. Both Dad’s and Sarah’s mum made speeches after which we all went over to the Gillyflower for the wedding breakfast. Following the glorious food the cake was cut and the dancing started. Outside the fire pits were lit and later on the pizza arrived. I can conform that the pizza was delicious.
