Beautiful Gloucestershire Barn Wedding Venue

The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury is a stunning venue for a Gloucestershire wedding. The barn itself takes pride of place opposite the Manor House and surrounded by guest accommodation and grounds. The house is the perfect place to stay and for the bridal party to get ready on the morning of the wedding. The guest accommodation is all enclosed in the grounds meaning that in the morning we can get to everyone effortlessly.

The Great Tythe barn has two levels with plenty of room downstairs for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and dancing with the upstairs available for your guests to relax (or for a cheeky photobooth).

We have shot many weddings at The Great Tythe Barn. It’s probably our most popular venue. We have weddings in all seasons and in all weather. It’s fair to say we have shot weddings where there have been four seasons in one day. During Hayley and Dan’s New Year’s Eve wedding we had rain in the morning followed by sun then a sudden downpour as she left the house for the venue. She had to cover herself with a tablecloth for the short walk across the courtyard. Later on we had a spectacular sunset and starry skies to finish. In the summer, after a rainy start, Ross and Jenna switched from an outdoor ceremony to indoors only for the sun to come out. A few weeks later Charlotte and JJ decided to have an outdoor ceremony as the morning was so lovely. As soon as Charlotte went to meet the registrars the rain started. Luckily we shoot there so much there’s not much that can phase us. Even large family groups can be shot in front of the huge glass doors and we can shoot everyone from the balcony if it comes to it.
