Guyers House Wedding – Jonathan & Gemma
Golf. a church wedding and a reception at Guyers House
“We’re here. Where are you?” “We’re on the 18th. You should be able to see us now.” We couldn’t really miss the blinding colours. After a rough and tumble on the green and a “Lightning Bolt” we left Jonathan to find our bride.
It was the usual chaos of the bride’s preparations with all the girls, hair-dryers, make-up, shoes and dresses flying around. So amidst the bedlam we picked out our beautiful bride and her gorgeous bridesmaids and then off to the Church. Carol went inside to shoot the guests and groom while I waited for Gemma and her Dad.
I love an emotional ceremony. I was assured that it would be Jonathan crying and not Gemma but in the end her sister Amber’s reading set the tears rolling.
We stopped off between Church and Guyers House for a shoot at the Golden Gates of Bowood. We arrived at Guyers House. A game of cricket, the speeches and afterwards we had a photo booth set up to keep people amused before the first dance.
We had a brilliant day. I like weddings where there’s lots going on and Guyers House is a beautiful setting.
If you are getting married, we would love to hear from you. See the contact page for details on how to get in touch.
Here’s how we saw it.
