Kingscote Barn Wedding Photography

I love Kingscote Barn wedding photography. The Cotswolds is a beautiful setting for a countryside wedding. Kingscote itself has a couple of gorgeous wedding venues that we love, Matara and Kingscote Barn. Kingscote Barn is nestled in a dip, hidden from the road and is a perfect place for an intimate private wedding. When you get to the barn the views across the valley are stunning and really makes this venue unique. This was one of the highlights of our year. It was one long hot summer; fantastic for outdoor ceremonies. Kingscote Barn has a beautiful Oak Linhay for outdoor weddings which makes for some gorgeous photos.

Jen & Jordan’s day started with the boys heading to the pub while Jen and her bridesmaids got ready at Doughton Cottages. It was a beautiful sunny day and the lawn was set up for an outdoor ceremony which although lovely and sunny, was also quite windy so we had a “Veil incident” where it decided it wanted to wear the groom for a while.

Time for lawn games and the groom to change into shorts before the evening kicked off. It’s the first time I’ve seen a groom in shorts and flip flops for the first dance. Kingscote Barn has a great little area for lawn games with Boules, Quoits and Croquet. It definitely keeps the guests amused.

This was a perfect day. Jen and Jordan knew what they wanted. A relaxed day with friends and family. No bossy photographer herding them around or taking them away for hours. Spending the whole day with family and friends at a beautiful rustic location in the countryside. Jordan got out of his suit as soon as possible and into his shorts and flip flops to spend the afternoon just having a great time and a few beers with his mates.

Kingscote Barn weddings

Kingscote Barn is a hugely popular wedding venue in the Cotswold hills. It has a range of accommodation for the wedding party and can hold up to 150 daytime and 200 evening guests. It is set in beautiful rolling countryside approached through the fields down a winding private road. It is a perfectly secluded exclusive use wedding venue. It has separate spaces for the ceremony/wedding breakfast and arrivals/guest lounge and also has a separate bar. Above the main hall is a petite gallery where musicians can play.

Outside is a manicured garden with views stretching off into the gorgeous Cotswolds Countryside. Guests can relax in any weather either indoors out on the lawns. There is also a playing field for outdoor games.

Jules and David were married at St. Mary’s in Tetbury and held their reception and black tie ball at the barn. Their guests were ferried off by coach after the wedding breakfast to change into formal attire for the evening ball. Caitlin and Mark were also married in Church at Alderley. They had a gorgeous sunny day for their wedding reception at Kingscote. Arriving in a beautiful MK2 Jaguar Caitlin and Mark’s wedding was elegant and rustic with a relaxed, countryside feel. Jo and Jake went all in and had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Barn. They had a guitar for the guests to sign – Jake is a guitartist – and all their tables were themed with vinyl records.
