Love and Light – Wedding at Riverstation Bristol

Marcus and Kelly held their wedding at Riverstation, a fabulous bar & restaurant in Bristol. It was October so the nights were drawing in and they decided to start the ceremony at 4pm. This meant a few things – The day was going to be really compressed, it would be dark before the wedding breakfast ended and I would have to use lights – Yay.

So the setting was an urban Bristol wedding with beautiful Autumn light to begin with and later, after the wedding breakfast it would be dark. I was very excited about it. It would be a challenge.

I had a little scout around the area before the big day which gave me some ideas for the wedding photography.

So here’s the beauty of the engagement shoot – Having taken Marcus and Kelly’s engagement photography in Clifton, they knew they could trust me so when I said “When it gets dark we’ll be a little experimental.” Kelly said “Experimental sounds good.” It’s awesome to have a great relationship with the couple and it makes the photography so much better.

We are Bristol wedding photographers and would love to hear from you. Please get in touch if you love the images.
