Rockley Manor wedding – Sally & Adrian
She worked for the British Library, he worked for the foreign office. By chance they met and fell in love. It sounds like the start of a novel and this one certainly has a happy ending. Sally and Adrian got married at Rockley Manor back in August. Rockley Manor is a gorgeous setting for a wedding, the house and grounds are beautiful and Beth their wedding co-ordinator is one of the nicest around. It even has a dinosaur hiding in the bushes. At Rockley you can get married in the house, outside the house on the portico or in the secret garden. Sally and Adrian chose the secret garden for their ceremony.
Their wedding was quite an intimate affair with only 60 or so guests. Sally wore a the traditional white dress while Adrian looked very non traditional but still dapper in a “Lemon Mousse” suit. Keeping with the non-traditional vibe, his best man wasn’t a man at all.
When we first met they told us that Adrian was still a goth at heart while Sally was a raver. I suggested a few eighties songs for the first dance but they had already settled on Nick Cave’s The Ship Song.
It’s been ages waiting for their schedules to clear so that we can catch up and show them the wedding images. Now at last I have and their beautiful Folio album has been ordered. I can finally blog their wedding photography.
See if you can spot the chicken…
