The groom and the bride kiss in front of the guests
one of your greatest wedding presents will be your photography
Wedding photography should be more than a record of an event. Your wedding photographer should capture the spirit of the day through interesting, beautiful, unusual moments. Moments that remain unseen until we reveal your wedding images.

“Kevin and Carol are relaxed and funny – a must for us – as well as being professional and fabulous at what they do. They made us feel at ease right from the start and more importantly have given us the most amazing photos that will last a life time.” – Lara & Darren

Every wedding is unique. Every day is different even in subtle ways and you need to find a wedding photographer that suits you. We like to get involved and support you through your journey as well as on your day. There really isn’t anyone else alongside you like we are. You need to be sure that the wedding photographer you choose is the right fit for you. The couples we attract are fantastic, we love them and they know we love them. We remember them, we talk about them, we look back at their photos and we remember the time we spent with them. We talk about them with new couples recalling funny or emotional moments. One day we’ll be showing new people your wedding images and they’ll get excited when they think of their wedding photography on their big day. They want to be like you. They want to feel like you did. So when you look back at your wedding photography, in your album, think of the new couples that are looking at you and thinking how amazing you look and wanting that feeling for themselves. It happens. A lot. That’s what we are about.

The journey

Every wedding is a journey. We become part of your journey when we meet you. We are there to help. I read about a guy who’s job it is to visit lottery winners. Because visiting lottery winners is his job, it seems to him that winning the lottery happens a lot when in fact it is very rare. We are similar in that we are a part of many weddings and have to remember that for you this is a once in a lifetime event. Because we do it a lot we know the things that people don’t think about. “What do we do?” whisper the couple holding a knife but unsure of which layer to cut or how much cake they should slice. We see the look on the single ladies’ faces as the bouquet hurtles over their heads and lands in the field behind them. The big stuff everyone knows about but it’s the little things that no-one thinks about; We’re here to help. Carol carries a Bride’s survival kit. We have pinned dresses, sewn buttons on jackets and fixed broken cake toppers, we’ve made the temperamental PA work with an iPad, fixed hair and make-up and we’ve even cured a toothache.

“We really love our Wedding Pictures, but all the extra Belson-know-how made the day go smoothly. They really do have a wealth of knowledge and experience mixed with a professional eye, but are also lovely easy going people.”– Kate & Eddie

The beyond

Not only are we here for you on the day but we see you a lot over the course of the wedding. If you see the website and love the photography, we meet you. We plan the pre-wedding shoot and we meet again to shoot it. If possible we see you for tea and cake for the pre-wedding viewing. Before the big day we’ll be in contact again to go through final timings. It doesn’t end there. We see you again for the wedding photography viewing and once more if you have chosen an album. Couples love this because it extends the wedding. Once you have come back from honeymoon you still have your wedding photography to look forward to and then the wonder of seeing the wedding album.

The Style

Photojournalism with some cool, creative, contemporary portraits on top. It’s what we call Fine Art Photojournalism. There’s no plan and no poses. We go along with the day and work it out as we go. We want it to look like your wedding not like our wedding with you in.
When you look at our images you see black & white and colour. We use some subtle natural looking processing, the images are all consistently edited. The colour are all processed the same way as are the black & whites. Kevin has been described as having a gritty style. “I love a bit of grain and I love a filmic look. I love a raw vibrant look and think it’s exciting and edgy. Nothing is perfect and that’s fine with me. Beauty is in nature and nature is not perfect.”

If this sounds great give us a call or email. We would be delighted to see you and hear all about your wedding day.

“I really couldn’t recommend Kevin and Carol enough, if you want beautiful and unique photos that you’ll treasure forever, then be smart and book them.” – Abbie & Carl

If you are looking for a creative wedding photographer. Then you have come to the right place. we are a team and we shoot together a lot. We don’t get in each other’s way and we cover the whole day with different perspectives. Please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
