Wiltshire Barn Wedding Venue
Wellington Barn is a beautiful Wiltshire wedding venue situated in rolling countryside near Calne. It is an exclusive use venue meaning that you and your guests can enjoy the day’s festivities without any interruption. Inside the barn is split into several areas, a small ceremony room which doubles as the dance floor later on, a bar, and a large area for the wedding breakfast and for your guests to relax. Outside there is a gazebo which is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.
Church wedding at St. Mary The Virgin
If you prefer a church ceremony there is a delightful small church in nearby Calstone Wellington – St. Mary The Virgin which can seat 80 guests. It’s a really gorgeous, secluded little church which will delight your guests. Situated down a lane and away from the village it provides a private place for your wedding ceremony. Although it is small the vicar is lovely and we have had no issues with wedding photography there so we can highly recommend it.
Weddings at Wellington Barn
The barn itself has a ceremony room which can accommodate 100 guests. It has a rustic charm and can be decorated to your taste. The whole barn is wheelchair accessible being on one level.
Your wedding reception
Following the ceremony drinks receptions can be held outside in the spacious gardens or in unfavourable weather the barn has plenty of room for your guests to hang out and relax. A cute little bride’s room is available before or after the ceremony where the bride and groom can stash their stuff and disappear if needs be, Outside there is a gazebo and a fenced off, paved area for guests to chill and beyond are beautiful rolling hills for you and your guests to explore if you feel adventurous. There is loads of room outside for eating and playing games so your guests will always be entertained.

Ian and Francesca decided on a civil ceremony at the barn while Emily and Andrew were married at the church and followed up with their reception at Wellington Barn. One wedding had glorious sunshine and the other had rain that didn’t stop all day. Both weddings were amazing fun and everyone had a great time. Luckily the venue is large enough to cope in all weathers in all seasons.
