What Our Clients Say About Our Wedding Photography

We absolutely love what we do and what makes it even better is seeing how delighted our clients are with the results.
Here is what some of our amazing clients have said about us as their wedding photographers:-

Laura & Elliott – Wedding at Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury

“Kevin and Carol were the first photographers we met – and we looked no further! We were blown away by the quality and style of their photographs. Kevin and Carol are extremely professional, yet relaxed and laid back, making us feel at ease. Willing to go with whatever we wanted, but offering great suggestions and advice to guide us. On the day they were spot on, 100% reliable and not at all intrusive. We could totally relax and forget about them (sorry guys!) knowing that they were busy capturing amazing memories for us. After seeing our pre-wedding shoot photos we felt completely confident that we would get great shots on the day….and that we did! Our photos are spectacular. Everyone we have shown has been wowed (and a little jealous!). They are beautiful, funky, artistic, natural and emotional all at once, and truly capture the colour, spirit and emotion of our day. Thank you so much. 5 star without a doubt!!!”

Laura & Arash – Wedding at Kings Weston House, Bristol

Bride and groom in gardens of Kings Weston House
“Kevin and Carol were brilliant. We absolutely love the photographs, and Kevin and Carol were fantastic throughout the day (and Carol was always on hand with a tissue when needed!) We went around to Kevin and Carol’s house for a viewing. Kevin had put a slideshow together with music from the day. The nicest thing about it was that we got to see what it had been like from the other person’s perspective. Arash got to see me getting ready with my bridesmaids and I got to see him fretting about his speech in the grounds of the venue before I arrived!”

Toby & Kelly – Wedding at Sopley Mill, Christchurch

“Kevin had been recommended from another photographer and I am so glad we chose them. From the engagement shoot to our wedding day, the photos are just amazing, they captured every moment of our wedding day from the girls getting ready to the boys setting up the venue. When we were looking at photography packages and photographers I was quite insistent that I wanted to have a second photographer as I wanted both our mornings to be captured. Many other photographers charged a fortune for an extra photographer and didn’t work with them frequently. What helped make our decision to choose Kevin was that his wife Carol worked with him. We saw from the engagement shoot how well they worked together and complimented each other which I think is mirrored in the images that were taken.”

Ed & Kate – Wedding at Harptree Court, Bristol

“We met Kevin and Carol at a Wedding Fayre in Bath and instantly warmed to their down-to-earth approach. As neither of us particularly love the camera, we knew they’d be a calming influence on the day. They took some great pictures too, of course!”

Tara & Rob – Wedding at Bartley Lodge Hotel, New Forest

Bride and groom in the gardens at Bartley Lodge
“Kevin and Carol were highly professional but also very warm and friendly and put us at ease. Everyone gets nervous about wedding photography and wants everything “just right” – you can’t afford to get it wrong. The communication was very open and regular and that was really important. The photo shoot before the wedding (engagement) was invaluable. On the day itself they were incredible – in the background but captured some incredible photographs and really captured the feeling of the day!”

Paddy & Ness – Wedding at Dewsall Court, Hereford

“Straight away we knew that Kevin Belson Photography were the team we wanted to capture our special day. Their creative style and ability to capture the moments that mean so much were exactly what we were looking for and after we had met Kevin and Carol we knew it was in good hands, and one less thing we needed to worry about! The results were fantastic, everything we hoped for and more, and a perfect reminder of our day. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.”

Ross & Jenna – Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury

“Kevin and Carol were attentive and listened to exactly what we were after. We loved the idea of getting to know them beforehand on a pre wedding shoot and after looking through their portfolio just knew they would capture the day exactly how we had envisioned. The approach to the guests and events throughout the day was amazing and really put everyone at ease. They really captured the emotion of the day and it shows through the photography work. The compliments we are getting on the album are phenomenal and the ‘tricks of the trade’ to capture the best light and angles were used without ever feeling like it was taking too long. We were really quite fussy as we wanted the best photos without standing around for hours posing so they had their work cut out for them, but definitely knew what we wanted in the end probably more than we did!”

Lara & Darren – Marquee Wedding, Pembrokeshire

Bride and groom at church ruins on Pembrokeshire coast
“Kevin was recommended to us by a friend who was about to get married and had felt totally at ease with Kevin and Carol at their engagement shoot. We were quite nervous about choosing the wrong photographer so were hugely grateful for the advice. When we browsed Kevin’s website there wasn’t a single wedding he had photographed that didn’t look stunning. For us our wedding was all about the people and we didn’t want too many ‘arty’ shots that didn’t tell the story of the day. Kevin and Carol could not have been lovelier from the first time we met. We were clearly on the same page in terms of what we thought wedding photography was all about. Seeing our wedding photos at their house was so exciting and made us unbelievably happy – they had captured most of our guests in fits of laughter throughout the day which was just what we had wanted for the day. Two months later I am still totally distracted by going through them repeatedly. Such a happy day, captured by a lovely, friendly and super talented photography team. We will remember you forever and have already sent some engaged friends your way!”

Nat & Rich – Wedding at Finca La Concepcion, Marbella

“Kevin & Carol travelled all the way to Marbella to photograph our special day. They were very relaxed and professional, we didn’t even notice they were there most of the day and took some amazing photos we will cherish forever. Everyone has commented on how great the photos are!”

“Kevin & Carol are fun to have around (and super handy to have a man and woman pair). Their service was faultless and the final images were stunning and just what we wanted.”

Emma & Errol – Wedding at Rockley Manor, Nr. Marlborough

“Kevin was recommended to us by our wedding organiser, and after viewing the beautiful shots on his website, it was not a difficult decision to ask him to do our photography. We arranged an engagement shoot to meet Kevin and Carol in London, and we found them extremely friendly, laid-back, yet professional. They expertly captured some amazing natural images. On the wedding day itself Kevin and Carol were virtually invisible, yet they captured the vibe of the day perfectly. The photos (there were lots of them!) were truly unique, and looking at them afterwards was like reliving the day. Kevin and Carol have a real talent for capturing candid moments, and this is exactly what we wanted from our wedding photography – images that documented the day rather than lots of ‘posed’ shots. We are so happy with the overall experience and outcome, and would definitely recommend Kevin and Carol to others.”

Charlotte & JJ – Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury

“Kevin and Carol were friendly and to the point, they did not mess around which suited us, if they thought something was not going to work they said so. No false tiptoeing around which again is what we wanted. The end results were better than we ever expected, couldn’t be more impressed/happy with the pictures.”

Emma & Will – Marquee Wedding, Wiltshire

“Kevin and Carol are very friendly and easy going and added to the whole wonderful experience of getting married. They seemed to be invisible on our wedding day, yet somehow they managed to produce jaw dropping photographs! They were very flexible and willing to listen to any preferences we had but also used their initiative to take stunning photos that captured the day beautifully. They are so talented! I would thoroughly recommend.”

Emma & Mark – Wedding at Grittleton House, Chippenham

“Kevin has a natural ability to capture real and special moments in time. A husband and wife team, Kevin and Carol are professional and confident in their delivery. Kevin was incredibly efficient on the day and able to work collaboratively with our guests to get the all important group shots! The photography has a very distinctive and clear identity however they were flexible in their approach and captured some more traditional shots which were important to us.”

Greg & Rhian – Wedding at Cripps Stone Barn, Cotswolds

Bride and groom with vintage bus at Stone Barn Gloucestershire
“We saw Kevin’s website and thought his pictures were beautiful. We wanted a relaxed documentary style without too many ‘posed’ shots. Moments after meeting them for our ‘engagement shoot’ we knew they were the perfect choice for us, and having just seen our photographs we were right.”

Nicola & Ian – Wedding at Crowcombe Court, Somerset

“We chose Kevin to be our photographer on the basis of the amazing quality of his photographs and style of photography – really capturing the moment and energy of the day. Carol and Kevin are an amazing team, really complementing one another. Neither Ian nor I like having our photos taken or being the centre of attention but they made the whole process easy and really enjoyable. They really fitted in beautifully with our day – even tolerating photography advice from our cocky Best Man!”

Pete & Lizzie – Military Marquee Wedding, Warwickshire

Bride and military groom in countryside in Warwickshire
“Kevin & Carol Belson were recommended by friends. Having looked through their extensive portfolio, we knew we had to speak to them. Both of us enjoy our photography and so we had a very strong desire for the wedding to be captured in a more natural way and they more than delivered. Both Kevin and Carol greeted us in the relevant locations with beaming smiles and immediately made us feel at ease. They were incredibly accommodating and we never knew they were there! The results were incredible and will be viewed for years to come.”

“We found Kevin on Fearless Photographers website. Kevin is one of very few who earned himself multiple Fearless awards and his work on his website was exactly the style we wanted. Kevin caught our attention when he wrote back to us and explained how he would love to work with us as we are his first gay wedding and of course we were very happy with his work and therefore jumped at the chance to have Kevin photograph our special day.”

Kat & Joe – Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury

“Kevin and Carol are a fantastic, talented team and made the photography of our wedding the easiest and most straight-forward part of the whole event. They communicated with me regularly and were happy to go down to Cornwall to do our engagement shoot, where they produced stunning images of me and my partner, which left us with our minds completely at ease for the wedding day photos. They captured the day in all its beauty, managing to make it look even more perfect than I thought it already was.”

Will & Dilini – Wedding at The Matara Centre, Tetbury

Bride and groom in the Japanese gardens at Matara Centre nr Tetbury
“We loved Kevin and Carol’s website and the style of photography. They also did a pre wedding shoot with us which was important as we got to know them well before the wedding and got a feel for their style. We also like the fact that Kevin and Carol came as a pair. We were so happy when we had the photos, they were fantastic. They managed to capture emotions and moments that were so special very well. The day itself can be a blur so it was important that we had these moments captured. Kevin & Carol were a pleasure to work with. Our wedding photos were fantastic. They showed real commitment and enthusiasm planning and carrying out the pre wedding shoot. On the wedding day they were present throughout until the first dance and did not seem phased when things went on slightly longer than anticipated.”

Rob & Caroline – Wedding at Old Down Manor, Tockington

Bride and groom in the gardens at Old Down Manor
“Kevin & Carol were fantastic and put us at ease. Kevin did a pre wedding shoot with us which, on top of the great photos, made us much more comfortable in front of the camera. They were both very friendly and allowed us to portray the real us, rather than a series of staged photos.”

Hayley & Dan – New Years Eve Wedding

“We didn’t want to have too many formal shots during the day, we wanted to spend the time with our guests and Kevin and Carol capture those moments perfectly. Kevin and Carol were amazing on the day and we hardly noticed they were there, however the photos that we now have are just stunning and show just how talented they are.”
